If there was an arbitrage oprtopunity you could make money off of it. As a result investors would exploit this oprtopunity. The investors would continue doing so until the opprtunity no longer existed. I'm not sure what kind of arbitrage you are talking about; there are many. But they all involve buying one position and selling another position offsetting any risk (this is a very simplistic view). If enough investors take advantage of the oprtopunity they buy whats under-valued and sell what over-valued. In doing so they cause they price of the over valued asset to decrease and the under-valued asset to increase. Once the prices are in line with where they should be you can no longer make a profit off of the discrepancy. It has been fixed. This phenomenon is what keeps our markets efficient. So since there is an incentive to make money and make it quick, arbitrage opportunities do not last long at all. Hope that helps.

, I want to move in. I give her the credit for gueinnely liking the resort.As for what normal people get. This isn't true at all. Most resorts and hotels stay in business based upon repeat customers. The normal folks that come again and again. Four and five star accommodations have to get it right and treat everyone well, otherwise they will go out of business. I also know this from personal experience as well as someone who has gotten great rooms by being just a regular guy staying at a hotel over night.Still, you get what you pay for. If you stay at a great hotel but in the cheapest room, don't be surprised, if the room turns out to not be so great. I recommend asking to see the room first before deciding to stay in it. Upgrades are regularly available and it always makes sense for a resort/hotel to help out its guests whenever possible.
