We have an identity which has enabled a step in the founding of the Union of South American Nations, Unasur, the Community of Latin American and Caribbean, CELAC, ALBA, Petrocaribe. There is another reality and within that new reality we are always willing to have good relations with the governments of the United States - at any time, but always on the basis of absolute respect, non-intervention in the internal affairs of our country. We have also said that sooner or later humanity wil see - in the decades to come – the final decline of imperial hegemonic power has been exercised by the elites of the United States in the last 150 years. The world to come has to be a multipolar world, multipolar, multicenter, without imperial hegemony - a world of peace and respect international law, respect for the right to economic and social development and for the lives of the peoples of the South. Respect for the right to independence, to democracy, to life. This has to be the world, for that world we are struggling and President Chavez has made ​​great contributions as a driving intellectual force towards this world that is being born.
